The people in charge
of Panty Maniacs are quite up front about their particular taste in
panties, which veers towards the cotton, silk and bikini-style ones
rather than the more skimpy g-string and thongs. There is a little of
the latter to be found here, but essentially this is dedicated to the
more tasteful kind of underwear that can still cause heart
attack-inducing palpitations in your average man’s torso.
The stunning British models, of which there are more than 250, wear a
mixture of classy and everyday wear, managing to make themselves look
equally irresistible in both. Variety is provided by the occasional
appearance of more conventional lingerie and even the odd cheerleader
uniform. Mostly the girls just pose in their panties, but sometimes
they’ll do other stuff such as read a magazine (one video briefly
features the model cleaning the kitchen - in fact the kitchen seems
quite a popular choice of location in addition to the more usual
bedroom). In both the photos and videos there is a predictable and
strong focus on the panties - sometimes they start the scene wearing
only a bra and panties in fact - and overall this is delightful and high
quality softcore work.
What’s more, if you’ll excuse the pun, you don’t usually get so much
material on a panties site. I was surprised to discover there are more
than 400,000 photos and almost a thousand videos on offer, though with
daily updates alternating between photos and videos those stats look
more comprehensible. So much for being a niche site. Not all of the
stuff is of the same quality, of course, but the latest videos look
excellent at 960x540 pixels and the 1400-pixels images aren’t too shabby
either.
I was interested to see what features they have for navigating around
such a large mass of content, but besides the option to search by the
colour of the panties (though they don’t make this very obvious), there
isn’t anything helpful to speak of. The videos can be browsed by date,
but no such luxury is afforded for the photos, so you’ll have to go via
the model index when hunting out anything other than the latest updates
shown on the members home page.
An effort has allegedly been made to make the site member-driven, though
to what extent that is actually achieved is not apparent. An extensive
look at the fairly busy forum would probably tell you all you needed to
know on that score. But it’s an attitude which reflects the whole
production really: Panty Maniacs is a large, high quality and very
enjoyable panties site.
