The people behind In
the Crack promise that this is no ordinary porn site. How is it
different then, I hear you cry? Well, for starters top video resolution
is 1920x1080 - not unprecedented in erotica but definitely approaching
the toppermost of the toppermost. Secondly, they claim that their niche
- close up ass crack and vaginal content - is pretty much unique to
them. Again, not entirely accurate, but not far off. Thirdly, they
purport to offer a demonstrable honesty about their content, a
willingness to be entirely candid about how well the shoots went and how
good they are. That would indeed be refreshingly welcome if it is true.
Let’s put all these claims to the test.
The format for the videos is usually the same. The first clip, which is
often the longest, features the model slowly stripping, allowing the
camera to rove around her body (with special attention paid to the ass
and pussy area of course). In subsequent clips we get a mixture of
explicit pussy and ass posing and masturbation stuff with toys, and
sometimes speculums. The level of anatomical detail shown in these clips
at the highest resolution is absolutely mind-blowing. Never before have
porn movies given the viewer so much an impression of actually ‘being
there’. Often there is a final bonus scene which is an outtake or shows
the girl briefly peeing, for example.
The quality of the pictures is almost as impressive, though such is the
standard of the videos they could almost be vidcaps (they’re not) and it
would hardly matter. The models will be familiar to those with the
briefest of experience of trawling the net for porn, but they’re very
sexy girls and well-suited to this type of work where every bodily
detail is revealed. The site has recently moved from updating every two
days to every three days - hardly a move in the right direction but not
too big a blow given the size of each update. Over half of the episodes
are now available in the highest video resolution.
Navigating around the site is not difficult, and I like the idea of the
low resolution ‘sampler’ clips. The model index needs an overhaul
though. The professed honesty about the content is also in evidence
(they’re even quite candid about the looks and attitudes of the models,
but never in a disrespectful way). But the true greatness of this site
lies in the way it makes other porn videos look a bit rubbish by
