In a rare example of
pornographic merger, I Love the Beach was formed in 2005 when SoftB.com
and Eurobeach - two big names in beach content at the time - decided to
join forces. The promise was something almost unheard of: a
well-designed, high quality and frequently updated voyeur site which for
once did exactly what it said on the tin.
Inside the members area, there is every indication that this was not a
hollow pledge. The design is professional and appealing, and the various
sections of content are easily accessible via drop-down menus. The
material seems to be sourced from about 6 or 7 different providers, most
of whom have names corresponding to the shoot locations, so we have
Miami Beach Man, Euro Guru, Caribbean Man, and so on. As those names
suggest, the beaches are from all around the world, though I think the
bulk of the content is from Spain.
New picture galleries, each containing 24 images, typically appear three
times a week. Picture quality and resolution are excellent, and
thankfully most galleries have images of a range of girls rather than
just the one (the latter somehow always leaves me feeling a little
cheated on this type of site unless the girl is a real stunner). The
earlier content is topless only, but recently there has been quite a lot
of updates from nudist beaches, to the point where this now forms a
significant chunk of the overall content. There are also some vidcaps
galleries, which at least are marked as such, and a small contributions
section.
Personally, though, the video content is this site’s real strength,
partly because it’s unusual to find good quality material of this kind
on the net. In fairness some of the earlier videos lack a little colour
(specifically the Miami Beach section), and can also be a little choppy
in playback, but the latest high definition material is absolutely
fantastic - light years ahead of the shaky, out-of-focus rubbish found
on most beach sites.
The footage is mostly of girls sunbathing (sitting up rather than lying
down), though sometimes they can be seen walking or playing in the sea.
Certainly there can be no complaints about the attractiveness of the
girls, and I detected something of a large breasts fetish amongst one or
two of the contributors in fact. There is a little bit of male nudity in
some of the video clips, but nothing sexual to be found.
Navigation is largely unproblematic. I particularly like the way that
clicking on the preview thumbnail for a video opens a larger image with
9 small vidcaps, giving an excellent indication of the content of the
clip. ZIP files are available for the pictures, though there is only one
resolution and no slideshow functionality.
I have practically nothing negative to say about this site. The move to
both topless and fully nude content will have addressed what might have
been a concern for some, and the quality and amount of material are both
outstanding. Unreservedly recommended.
