Show me a straight man
who says he has never fantasised about women showering naked together
and I’ll show you a liar. Yet despite the popularity of the idea, it’s
obviously a very tricky matter to get genuine voyeur footage of ladies
getting soaped up in the shower rooms. Quite a few sites (Voyeur Russian
and Hidden Zone amongst them) have some material taken from spy cams in
public showers, but Hidden Showers is one of a very select few sites to
specialise in that area.
So although this is niche voyeur content, I can see it having quite a
broad appeal. The action takes place primarily in what I would guess is
Russia or elsewhere in eastern Europe, and happily there are quite a few
locations used. Pretty much all of the material appears to be authentic
insofar as the showers are properly public and the girls are not aware
they are being filmed, so that settles the usual criticism levelled at
‘voyeur’ sites. Presumably the material is exclusive too, though this
company run various other voyeur sites and the possibility of
overlapping content cannot be ruled out entirely.
The quality of the videos is impressive, by and large. Sometimes the
women walk right up to the cameras, so they appear to be well disguised
indeed, and means you don’t just get scene after scene of distant
showering. The camera angle and distance is usually wide enough to
include about three cubicles in shot at once, which I thought was about
right, and of course the women are usually naked pretty much throughout
apart from the occasional times when they’re dressing or throwing a
towel around themselves.
Scenes are about two minutes long on average, and although new clips
arrive daily they are usually just the next segment in one continuous
piece of footage. Nonetheless I found this quite a good system, and you
can usually tell from the three large thumbnails the clips you’re likely
to prefer. Video resolution has increased since the early days and has
now reached the excellent level of 720x576 pixels, which provides a very
watchable, almost square view on proceedings. Clarity is more than
acceptable for this sort of filming. Unfortunately there is no picture
content available at the date of review.
Hidden Showers cannot really be faulted in terms of providing exactly
what it promises - not something you can say about many voyeur sites,
alas. There’s nothing fancy about the design or navigation, but to be
honest the site doesn’t really need it. This is a marvellous archive of
niche voyeur material.
