Hegre Art is the
internet showcase of renowned Norwegian erotic photographer Petter Hegre,
a name frequently bandied around when talk turns to who the ‘best’
erotic photographer in the world might be. Hegre has been taking
pictures of some of the sexiest girls around for a long time now,
demonstrating an unflinching desire to operate at the highest artistic
and technical levels. His site is very, very popular - let’s hope it’s
with good reason.
Hegre is certainly one of a select few in his field to have anything
resembling an erotic vision. While I’m reluctant to say this guy’s day
job could ever become boring, what keeps him motivated seems to be the
constant challenge of finding new ways of presenting the girls. In the
use of props in particular he is a cut above most of his competitors,
and the variation in themes, locations and sexy clothes the girls wear
(and soon enough don’t wear) makes this site’s claim to be ‘art’ a
convincing one.
The now standard magazine style of presentation is adopted, with one new
gallery appearing every day. Picture dimensions should please the
close-up fetishists, since the latest sets are available at the truly
massive size of 6000 pixels, as well as an unusually broad range of
other resolutions. Quality is the watchword here, and the same can be
said about the models - you definitely get the feeling Hegre will not
tolerate mediocrity for the sake of quantity or even variety. He seems
to have a ‘thing’ for skinny waif-like girls in fact, but there are a
fair proportion of more voluptuous ladies should your tastes not incline
in that direction.
In keeping with the emphasis on quality, most new videos are offered at
1920x1080 or 1280x1020 resolution. Though the movies don’t quite reach
the artistic standards of the photos, at least they’re not simply
footage of photoshoots, and there are quite a few scenes with three or
four models which offer plenty of visual candy. Interestingly, Hegre

It’s clear that Hegre Art is a labour of love for its creator. There is
so much more personality to this site than most of its rivals, and
pleasingly the perfectionism extends to both the content and the user
experience. It is an oasis in the desert of throw-a-load-of-nudey-pics-on-the-web-to-make-wads-of-cash
sites, and a lovingly intimate shrine to the female form, with the
merest hint of naughtiness.
