It’s not much of a
mystery why men go to the beach. It’s not to get a nice tan they can
show off to their mates. It’s not to catch up on their reading. It’s not
to have a play in the sea and feel spiritually reinvigorated. Quite
simply, it’s because it’s one of the few places where they can watch
girls parading round in the kind of skimpy outfits you’d otherwise need
a naughty magazine or internet connection to enjoy. Candid Beach Angels
promises us only the prettiest of such girls in the very skimpiest of
outfits.
The site doesn’t offer any nude content (not even toplessness), but it
does have a range of content beyond the beach bunnies suggested by its
name. In particular, there are quite a lot of candid sporting images on
offer, particularly of cheerleaders and girls in cute volleyball
outfits. There are also some indoor candid shots from parties and girls
just posing in their bedrooms. As such this is more of a general candid
site than a beach-only one, and it’s probably more enjoyable for it,
especially as the attractiveness of the girls (mostly American I think)
is sensational for an amateur site of this kind.
The content goes back to 2004, so this is a site of decent vintage.
Impressively, the quality of the photography has been great from the
start, and there are now tens of thousands of crisp, high resolution
images available. Although some are a little smaller, you can expect a
resolution of 1600 pixels for most of the shots. There are about a
thousand individual galleries, and although the number of images per
gallery is not huge, this tends to be because each gallery is quite
varied, which happily means you don’t get picture after picture of the
same girl just from a slightly different angle. The variety on offer is
one of the key features of this site.
The organisation of the site is simple and obvious, with the material
organised by date. Some of the galleries are identified by the
photographer responsible, and one bugbear I had was that clicking on the
links to these galleries takes you to the general page for that
contributor rather than the specific gallery itself. There is
practically no text on the site apart from some brief introductions by
the contributors, so this is very much just a picture archive and
nothing more. Though of course with this sort of stuff the most pleasure
is to be had by having a browse through to see what catches your
interest - an approach which is unavoidable in any case given the lack
of ZIP files.
There are a very small number of videos available, somewhat
inexplicably, but the main draw here is definitely the high quality
photos. Updates appear three times a week, which isn’t bad at all, and
you also get access to the similar production Her Fine Self with your
membership.
